This is an Asterisk macro that lets you know if today is a holiday, and jump to different places on your dialplan accordingly.

I’ve just released my daemontools “run” scripts for Asterisk. They are here: asterisk-daemontools [README]
The scripts let you configure via variables on the “env” dir the PATH to the Asterisk exec, the user and group to launch it with, and the startup options you want to pass it. About running Asterisk with a given user, I’ve found problems with Asterisk 1.2 and the -U and -G options, so the scripts only use those options if you’re running Asterisk 1.4 and revert to “su” otherwise.
There’s also a script forFlash Operator Panel’s “fopserver”.
I’m using these scripts on several Asterisk 1.2 and 1.4 servers with FreePBX.

I’ve just uploaded the very first release of gtkpodscrobbler, a set of scripts that send to last.fm the latest songs you’ve listened to on your iPod, by means of iPodScrobbler and gtkpod.
More info and downloads here: gtkpodscrobbler.
I’ve updated my lighttpd packages for Debian Sarge to the 1.4.15 release. Find them here.
Last monday version 2.0 of the jLanguage plugin was released. Besides fixing the bug that prevented articles with new lines, paragraphs, lists, etc. from showing up properly, this new version adds a centralized options menu and the hability to translate the articles’ titles.
Highly recommended. ![]()
My wife and I like music. Rock mostly, so we don’t even have to fight about what to play. There’re some radio stations here in Spain which play mostly rock, but then comes the usual news program, or a sports one… so we wanted an easy (and affordable) way to broadcast our own music all over the hose.

Acabo de subir las transparencias de un curso de introducción a GNU/Linux que impartí el año pasado.
